NZ-BBQ on August 3rd with Moana & The Tribes

Dear friends of New Zealand and dear members,

For those who have not participated our NZ-BBQ onAugust 3rd in Kornwestheim, we want to give a small taste of what they just missed. In depth people wanted to have a similar party at the next european tour of the group. With the location, everybody was fine.

Overall we have been 72 people, including the new zealand band. Uschi and Stefan again worked on a great new zealand table decoration. Our hosts Gerd and Karin sponsored the tables, banks, the deliciouse "Hefezopf" and the salmon balls. The traditional Maori welcome with songs of each side (our song: Marmor Stein und Eisen bricht...) and the traditional Hongi-Nasen/forehead kiss worked really fine for me.

Every guest was greeted by the Maoris with that Hongi. Moana and her group played a lot of songs at the camp fire. Gerd and his son gave this a special sound with their amplifier and guitars.

It was a wonderfull and athmospheric summer night.
